STI Hungary, as an active member of the Hungarian Association of Logistics, Purchasing and Inventory Management, has the opportunity support the development of a new education and training tool for logistic professionals – a board game called CONI©. This game has been developed by the start-up company L360-Inno Kft, founded by Hungarian academics, and with the support of the Hungarian Association. CONI© is meant to be used for education purposes at universities, colleges and in forwarding and logistics companies and can also be used to support the recruiting processes to find out which experiences applicants and new employees already have.
The game project was first presented during an event of the Association and Peter Csipes, MD of STI Hungary, had the chance to participate in a closed testing of the game with other association members. After the test all participants agreed that best feedback could be received by letting the game be intensively tested by professionals from all areas of the Logistics and Forwarding business. This is when STI Hungary pro-actively offered support for the development of this unique and revolutionary new education and training tool and got involved.
As a first step in supporting this project the experienced STI Hungary Operations and Finance team was asked to try test the game in full with the support of a creative game leader. While really enjoying the game as such they also had a good look at the questions and quiz topics and usefulness of the entire game itself by bringing in their logistics expertise. At the end valuable feedback was given to the developers, which was highly appreciated and taken home. The game is still in development and STI Hungary will continue to support this project as much as possible. “Educating people and giving more insights to what Logistics and the forwarding business is about is so important and we are very happy that we are able to contribute to the education of future generations. We are looking forward to further support the developers”, Peter Csipes says.
