On 14th September, our S.T.I. (U.K.) Ltd. team came together for a cause that truly matters by participating in the Dens Charity Castle Walk. This vital event supports local individuals and families facing homelessness and crisis in Hemel Hempstead. Nine of our colleagues walked the beautiful trails around Berkhamsted Castle, tackling both the 2 and 10-mile routes. They were joined by family members and their furry friends—united in raising awareness for Dens and the essential work they do.
As the event village sponsor, STI UK supported to create a welcoming space where everyone could gather after the walks to enjoy refreshments and share in the day’s experiences.
We received wonderful feedback from Dens: “
Thank you so much for being our event village sponsor, and to all of the team that took part on the day, which helped make our Castle Walk a resounding success! We are delighted to announce that the event has raised over £15,000 for Dens, with every penny going towards supporting local people facing crisis. Your team is amazing; we loved meeting them and their fur babies! The day was a fantastic success, with over 300 walkers and their four-legged friends joining us in the sunshine."
Dens - is dedicated to supporting individuals and families facing homelessness and those in need in the local community. They provide vital services, including emergency accommodation, food support, and outreach services, helping people rebuild their lives. STI UK regularly supports this charity because making a difference in our local communities is important to us. By participating in this walk, our UK team not only enjoyed a lovely day together but also contributed to raising awareness for Dens’ important mission.
Let’s take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated and those who generously donated via the STI UK JustGiving page. Together, we raised an impressive £570.00. Everyone's support is invaluable and makes a real difference for those in need in the local community.
A big thank you to all our UK colleagues for their involvement and support in this meaningful cause!
