On 15 June 2019 the Polish Ronald McDonald’s House Charities held its annual family picnic in Warsaw. This years’ event purpose was to raise funds for the construction of the second Polish House of Ronald McDonald’s, which will be located at the Children’s Clinical Hospital of the Medical University of Warsaw.
STI Freight Management as a group supports the Ronald McDonald’s House Charities all over Europe and when STI Polska received the invitation to participate in this family picnic there was no hesitation in supporting this event, as raising awareness for the Charity’s activities is close to the heart of STI Freight Management across Europe.
STI Polska employees and their family members participated. Our colleague Izabela Dolacinska, Finance Department, who has a passion for creating extraordinarily delicious biscuits, cakes and confectionaries in her private time, even prepared a sweet surprise for the visitors of this family picnic: Cookies shaped like small STI trucks and chocolate TIR. A fact that did not go unnoticed by the guests who appreciated and enjoyed the cookies and sweets very much.
The team of STI Polska as well as their family members enjoyed supporting this special event very much and everyone involved had a good time. Katarzyna Golebska, Managing Director of STI Polska says: “We will never hesitate to support any Ronald McDonald’s Charity activities as this is such a great initiative to help families to cope during challenging times of their lives. And of course a very special thank you goes to Izabela who took the time to prepare all these lovely cookies at home to make this an even more special event.”
