Cancer is a disease that impacts far too many lives, which is why our colleagues from S.T.I. Glonet and
HAVI Spain participated in the XII “Madrid en Marcha” Race Against Cancer on 4th April, joining over 27,000 participants in this incredible event.
The event offered both 4.5 km and 10 km race options, but it was much more than just a race challenge. It was an opportunity to come together in unity, share hope, and show strength and support as a community, with each step symbolising support for those affected by cancer.
As Carlos, our Spanish colleague, reflected:
“It was more than a race; it was about coming together for something bigger than ourselves. Every step we took was a statement of support, resilience, and belief in a future without cancer.”A heartfelt thank you to our colleagues at HAVI Spain for organising the participation, and to our colleagues for their dedication to such an important cause. Your involvement made the day unforgettable, and we are grateful for the opportunity to share this experience.
The event also coincided with the eve of World Day for Colorectal Cancer Prevention (March 31), underscoring the vital importance of early detection and raising awareness in the fight against cancer.
Let’s keep this spirit alive and continue supporting the causes that matter.
