Highlights from the STI FM European Finance Manager Meeting in Budapest
In April, the STI FM European Finance meeting took place in Budapest, bringing together all Finance Managers from each STI FM entity across Europe and the STI corporate finance team.
Hosted by our welcoming and hospitable S.T.I. Hungary Kft. colleagues, the meeting was held at a hotel in Budapest overlooking the Danube River, right opposite the Hungarian Parliament.
The agenda was full of operational, tactical, and strategic matters, including action items from the Management Meeting in Neuss in 2023, the employee survey, and how we can better leverage AI technology. The team engaged in many fruitful discussions and left with plenty of homework aimed at ensuring that finance remains an efficient, customer-focused function, fostering a positive work environment for everyone working with and within.

Valuable input was received from the host, the Managing Director of STI Hungary, along with guest speakers from STI FM Change Management, and the Senior Manager of Digital Finance from HAVI, who covered various topics relevant to the group.
Special thanks go to the STI HU team, represented by Peter Csipes (MD HU), Peter (Finance Manager), Tamas Kurucz (Ops HU and EOT Lead), Petra Opitz (Business Analyst FM), and Orsolya Boda (Accountant HU), who joined some of our sessions and warmly welcomed their guests. The entire team felt at home from the very first moment.
